Our story

After a cycling accident at the age of 14, my best friend and best man became disabled. Following his rehabilitation, he and his family decided to move to the Vendée region of France.

A promise: to join him! Promise kept: after four years of searching and more than 50 visits, we arrived in the Vendée with the whole family. My parents also came along.

In December 2017, we fell in love with the magical Château des Tourelles in the Vendée. We officially opened the doors of our bed and breakfast in a castle near Puy du Fou on April 27, 2018. Today, we continue to innovate and surprise you, offering new services: culinary workshops, sports workshops, wellness workshops, wine tastings, and more, all while continuing to provide comfortable accommodations, welcoming spaces, games, and much more. Every year, we welcome travelers, families, and groups seeking an authentic stay in the Vendée region, near Puy du Fou. Our castle offers a warm alternative to traditional hotels, providing spacious accommodations, a historic setting, and a complete tourist experience. Whether for a single night, a weekend, or an extended stay, we strive to guarantee comfort, relaxation, and a warm welcome.

This guest castle near Puy du Fou is surrounded by a magnificent park with countless tree species. You will particularly enjoy being near the old fountain dating from 1850. You will enter the castle through the original main gate with its handcrafted glass. You will reach the carat marble reception and then the entrance hall with its splendid hand-carved wooden fireplace. You will discover the Napoleonic Room with its two crystal chandeliers and two marble fireplaces adorned with a 200-year-old Napoleonic overmantel. During your visit, you will also encounter elements reminiscent of the Élysée Palace with its stretched canvases and wood paneling: the Château des Tourelles in the Vendée region was the former residence of a Vendée minister. This unique location offers a rare setting for a stay in the Vendée, combining historical charm and quality accommodation.
